Neurocorrection

Neurocorrection is an exercise programme for motor and intellectual development that includes lying and sitting exercises, active games and tabletop activities. The tasks gradually become more difficult during the sessions.

This programme is very useful for children with various diagnoses, such as

Dysontogenesis
Early childhood autism
Autism spectrum disorders (ASD)

Mental retardation
General developmental disorder, alalia, dysarthria, dysgraphia, dyslexia and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)
Children with learning disabilities
Children with coordination disorders

Neurocorrection also helps children who have difficulties not only in learning due to psychological reasons, but also in general physical underdevelopment, possibly in school maladjustment and stress disorders.

The purpose of these sessions is to restore the broken connections of the nervous system. The neuropsychologist selects exercises for the child to engage the appropriate receptors and brain regions. These sessions are best suited for children aged 3 to 10 years; after 10-11 years, the effect will be associated mainly with compensation rather than fundamental overcoming of difficulties.

A neuropsychologist works with learning difficulties, attention span and switching, memory, speech and movement disorders, low psychophysiological resources and increased fatigue, difficulties in controlling behaviour, impulsivity and inertia.

Neuropsychological diagnostics and correction will be useful:

if the child had a pathology in childbirth or during pregnancy, was born prematurely,
was injured at an early age,
has a delay in motor development or speech development,
suffers from bedwetting, tics, stuttering, obsessive fears, has difficulties with numeracy, writing and reading skills, is clumsy, uncertain in movement, impulsive, hyperactive and has difficulties communicating with peers and adults.

Also, if the child writes and draws with the left hand, neuropsychological diagnosis and correction will be useful.
